2023/24 - Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Canton, GA

Procare Therapy is currently seeking a teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing to work at a school in Canton.  While on assignment with Procare, candidates will work with students and staff to provide comprehensive services that will assist in the development of positive learning environments and promote student success.

The Position at a Glance: 

• Full Time - 40 Hours
• 2023/24 School Year
• K-12th Grade Caseload
• Variety of Student Needs
• Manageable Caseload Size

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations
• Develop and Implement student IEPs 
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to improve student outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and provide guidance on academic and behavioral interventions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in special education
• Emphasis in teaching for the deaf and hard of hearing
• Active licensure in Georgia
• Schools experience preferred, not required
