Requirements:
- Valid DHH Teaching Certification
- Experience working with students who have hearing impairments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A deep commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments
Duties:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with hearing impairments, tailoring teaching methods to meet their unique needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address each student's specific challenges and goals.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students' success and well-being.
- Utilize assistive technology and resources to enhance students' learning experiences.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Continuously assess students' progress and adapt instruction as needed to maximize their growth.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in the field of Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
