Full-Time DHHT in Portland, Oregon for the 23/24 School Year

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a Full-Time Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) for the upcoming 23/24 school year in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing and hold a valid DHHT certification in Oregon.

Responsibilities:

• Providing direct instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conducting assessments and monitoring student progress
• Providing consultation to parents and families
• Participating in school-based interventions and initiatives

Requirements:

• Valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) certification in Oregon
• Prior experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This position is full-time for the 23/24 school year, and we will consider an ASAP start if the candidate desires.
