Sunbelt is scheduling interviews for a full-time Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing this week for a school district in the San Francisco area. Candidates will be working through the next school year. Come join our team today!

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract

Work hours: 35 – 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday

HDD Responsibilities:

• Provide direct provision of specialized services for students who have trouble hearing
• Assists the IEP team with student assessment, individualized instructional plan design, implementation, and progress monitoring for each student
• Assist with the social development of students through communication, implementation of behavior support plans, and modeling of behavior
• Collaborate with families and other related service providers
• Complete DRDP’s and analyze student data to inform instruction
• Single classroom assignment, option to extend work into the summer by mutual agreement   

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Basic sign language competency
• CA State License
• Knowledge and understanding of American Sign Language
• Pediatric experience desired
