DHH Teacher | Philadelphia, PA | ASAP - EOSY
A school in Philadelphia, PA has a contract teaching position available for a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher for the remainder for the 2022/2023 school year.

Job Overview:

• ASAP Start - mid-June
•  Full-Time 37.5hrs/week
• Service students who require assistance to to hearing loss. 
• The teacher will address the educational, communication, and social/emotional needs of students and provide guidance to students parents and school personnel
• Onsite work only
• Adjustment of auditory equipment as necessary. 
• Must be experienced in deaf education to help advise teachers where necessary. 
• PA Special Education Teaching License with endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing required

Case Load: 

• Deaf, deaf plus other and autistic students
• K-12th grade, 25-45 students
• Some students once/month, others twice/week

Teachers will have weekly planning time for reports, preparation, paperwork, etc.

Upon successful experience at the end of the school year, there is possibility of extension through the next school year.
