Full-Time Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher 2023-24 School Year

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to work in Anoka, MN for the 2023-24 school year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing direct instruction and support to students with hearing loss.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with hearing loss
• Provide support and resources to general education teachers and staff to ensure effective communication with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Utilize appropriate technology and assistive devices to support student learning
• Collaborate with other service providers, including speech therapists and audiologists, to provide comprehensive support to students

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Minnesota state teaching credential in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education
• Must have experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a school or similar setting
• Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) is preferred
• Must be willing to work full-time for the 2023-24 school year
