Full Time Onsite Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher | Medford, Oregon | 2023-2024

ProCare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to join our team for the 2023/2024 school year. As an onsite teacher, you will work closely with students who have hearing loss and provide them with excellent educational support and instruction.

Caseload:

• Elementary aged students

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct instruction in language, reading, writing, and other subjects as needed
- Collaborate with other educators and specialists, such as speech therapists and audiologists, to ensure that each student receives comprehensive support services
- Use technology and other resources to enhance learning opportunities for all students
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs

Qualifications:

- Degree in Deaf Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification in Oregon, with endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education required
- Strong understanding of the educational needs of students with hearing loss
- Familiarity with assistive technology and other tools to support learning
