A school district is currently arranging interviews for a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH) near the Springfield, Oregon area. 

Details:

• Full-time 
• ASAP - 6/16/2023 
• Caseload: Birth - age 21
• Job Duties: Provide direct instruction, assessments, consultations with parents, students, and staff members, and evaluations
• Must be Fluent in ASL (American Sign Language) 
• Active OR license as a DHH Teacher, will consider out of state applicants with a pending license. 

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Deaf Education (with an emphasis on listening and spoken language)
• MA Department of Education License as a Teacher of the Deaf
• Must have transportation and have ability to travel frequently throughout the city of Quincy to meet the needs of students
• Knowledge of amplification, adaptive equipment, and applicable technology
