Hiring Now! Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Salem, OR

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a qualified Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for a full-time position in Salem, OR. The ideal candidate will hold a valid DHH Teaching License and have experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Salary: $28 - $35 an hour (depending on experience and school budget)

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract

Duration: Remainder of the School Year with possible extension for 2023 and 2024 school year

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Develop and implement lesson plans
• Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with other educators and professionals to support student success
• Attend meetings and communicate with parents/guardians as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Deaf Education or a related field
• Valid DHH Teaching License
• Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
