Job Description:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Teacher of Deaf to provide valuable services once a month to students in Schenectady, NY. This is a unique opportunity to support students with hearing impairments and make a positive impact on their educational journey.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with hearing impairments.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and educational goals.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure students' success.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education or a related field.
• New York state certification as a Teacher of the Deaf.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work onsite as needed and provide services once a month.
