Part time DHH Teacher Job (Hearing Impaired Specialist)- Sanford, NC

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to work part time at a school in the Sanford, NC area for the current school year. The DHH Teacher will work with the 7 students, part time 25 hours a week, having duties such as D/HH instruction/direct services, IEP case management and updating IEPs. Experience teaching in North Carolina as a DHH Teacher prior is preferred but new graduates with a current state of North Carolina teacher certification will be considered (PPS credential). This position pays weekly and offers medical insurance benefits.

Overview:

• 7 students, 3 sites (mileage reimbursed between sites)

Requirements:

• Master's Degree as a Teacher for the Hearing Impaired/Deaf (DHH Teacher)
• state of North Carolina teacher certification to teach students with hearing impairment 
• able to start immediately (within 1-2 weeks of a job offer)
