VocoVision is seeking a qualified Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide remote instructional services to K–12 students across Georgia. This role requires strong communication skills, comfort with technology, and the ability to deliver specialized instruction through a virtual platform.
Position Responsibilities

Provide direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff

Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs

Participate in virtual meetings and evaluations

Maintain required documentation and compliance standards
Required Qualifications

Active Georgia Teaching Certification
-
Special Education Cognitive Certification for Reading/ELA
-
Hearing Impairment Certification (HI)
-
Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related field (preferred)

At least 2 years of relevant school-based experience

Proficiency with virtual instruction and assistive technology
