Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Deaf Education or related field. Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education (as required by the state). Professional Educator License (PEL) Knowledge of current best practices in deaf education, assistive technology, and language development. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication modalities, as appropriate.
