Compensation
Hourly rate: $37.05–$42.97 per hour, depending on experience, credentials, and assignment specifics.

Job Responsibilities
• Deliver direct and consultative instructional services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s communication and learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and related service providers to support accessibility and inclusion
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adapt instruction to meet evolving needs
• Support family engagement and advocacy to strengthen student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state standards
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field
• Valid Texas certification for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) or eligibility for reciprocity
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong professional references demonstrating collaboration and reliability
• Completion of all credentialing and background requirements prior to start
