Fort Worth Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support to students across the district. The caseload includes approximately 20 students, many of whom are full signers and utilize hearing devices and FM systems in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and specialized support to DHH students across campus sites

Utilize sign language and auditory/oral strategies to meet individual student needs

Manage and support the use of hearing aids, cochlear implants, and FM systems in the classroom

Collaborate with classroom teachers, interpreters, related service providers, and families

Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations

Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Requirements:

Valid Texas teaching certificate (General Education or Special Education)

Teacher of the Auditorily Impaired certification required

Strong proficiency in sign communication and experience with assistive hearing technology

Ability to work onsite across district campuses
