Part-Time Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing | Oxford, NJ
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a part-time position in Oxford, New Jersey, working with a supportive school district known for its inclusive learning community. The selected educator will provide specialized instruction and communication support to students with hearing impairments, helping them thrive academically and socially.
Requirements:

Valid New Jersey Department of Education certification as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or closely related field.

Knowledge of assistive listening technologies, auditory/oral training, and ASL communication methods.

Experience in IEP development and school-based collaboration preferred.
Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative instruction tailored to each student’s communication style and academic goals.

Collaborate with general educators, interpreters, and speech therapists to ensure continuity of services.

Monitor hearing equipment and coordinate audiological evaluations when necessary.

Communicate regularly with families to support learning across school and home settings.
Pay: From $45-$50/hr, based off experience
