DHH Specialist Caseload of 35 Students | Rowland Heights, CA
Blazer Jobs, in partnership with the school district, is seeking a dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Specialist for the current school year. This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload and provide impactful early intervention and educational support to students from infants through young adults.
Position Details:

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours/week

Caseload: 35 students, ages infant – 22 years

Services: Early intervention, IFSP support, consults, IEP participation

Role Type: Itinerant, with program support provided
Daily Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
-
Implement and monitor Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and IEP goals
-
Collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to ensure student progress
-
Participate in consults, assessments, and progress documentation
-
Maintain accurate student records and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Special Requirements:
-
CTC – Education Specialist Instruction Credential with DHH Authorization
-
Experience working with infants and early intervention programs
-
Ability to work itinerantly across multiple settings
Compensation & Benefits:

$58-60/hour, depending on experience
