Job Details:

• Position: Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
• Location: Tacoma, WA
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• School Year: 2023-2024
• Hourly Compensation: $45-$53+/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
• Weekly Paychecks
• Caseload: Candidates can choose from K-12
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with hearing challenges
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educational team members, parents, and caregivers
• Utilize innovative teaching techniques and technology to enhance learning

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education/Deaf Education
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred
• Experience working with K-12 students with hearing impairments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
