ProCare Therapy is presently looking for motivated and dedicated DHH Teachers to join our team for the upcoming academic year. Making a difference in the lives of deaf or hard-of-hearing children is an amazing opportunity.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Working with up to 10 kiddos
- Elementary Caseload: K-3rd grade
- Hourly pay ranging between $35-$45/hr delending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide educational instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and professionals to create an inclusive learning environment
- Utilize appropriate teaching strategies and resources to meet the unique needs of each student
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification in Deaf Education or willingness to obtain
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing is highly desirable
- Bilingual in American Sign Language preferred
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
