 Full-Time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)

Location: Ashburn, Washington

ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of education staffing solutions, is seeking a qualified and passionate Full-Time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join a dynamic team of educators in Ashburn, Washington for the 2023/2024 school year. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of settings
• Collaborate with other educators, speech-language pathologists, and support staff to ensure the needs of students are met
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress
• Participate in professional development activities and staff meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education or related field
• Valid state teaching certification in Deaf Education
• Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and/or other communication modalities used by students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
