Soliant is currently contracted with a school district that is currently seeking and interviewing teachers for the deaf and hard of hearing (DHH).This will be a full time position, which would be located near San Leandro, California. As a DHH, individuals will work with students who are deaf, going deaf, or are hard of hearing. Job description:

  • Full Time (35-37 hours per week)
  • Elementary or High School Caseload


The DHHT would need to possess the following:

  • Master's Level Degree in Education for teaching Deaf Students
  • Requires a state training certification in Deaf Education
  • State clearance

Teachers do not have to be fluent in ASL in order to be considered.
