I am currently helping a school district near the Minneapolis, MN area actively search for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) for a full-time opening. This onsite teaching job will work through the end of the new school year. We are ready to review resumes and interview candidates. Looking for passionate teachers!

TDHH Details:

  • Full-Time
  • Contract
  • 40 hours per week, 7:30am – 3:30pm
  • Monday – Friday
  • New school year, Onsite job

TDHH Functions:

  • Provide direct assistance for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Write and implement individual student goals and objectives and evaluate student performance according to the goals and objectives on IEPs; attend IEP meetings
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with learners, families, and school personnel regarding students with hearing challenges
  • Assess the educational needs of learners who are deaf or hearing impaired
  • Instruct the student and staff on the use and care of hearing aids and hearing equipment

TDHH Qualifications:

  • Active license in MN
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Basic sign language competency
  • Experience working with hard of hearing students in school preferred
