Job Description: As a Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, you will play a vital role in providing quality education and support to students with hearing impairments in an online learning setting. You will work part-time, and your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting virtual lessons and educational activities tailored to the needs of deaf and hard of hearing students.
• Collaborating with special education teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitoring and assessing students' progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
• Providing support and accommodations to ensure students' access to the curriculum.
• Engaging with students, parents, and guardians to maintain open communication and address any concerns.
• Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills.

Requirements:

• Valid teaching certification in Deaf Education or related field.
• Experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable with virtual teaching platforms and technology.
• Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
