It may be a very tiny state on the northeastern shore of the United States, but that doesn’t mean it has nothing to do. In fact, you will quickly find Rhode Island chockfull of activities when you start looking for DHH jobs in the state. Thanks to its close proximity to Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York, you could enjoy even more activities whenever you would like.
Do you like spending time outdoors? Then you will love the nine state parks that Rhode Island has to offer. You could also visit the Roger Williams National Memorial, the Touro Synagogue National Historic Site, and four different national wildlife refuges including John H. Chafee, Ninigret, Sachuest, and Trustom Pond.
Other attractions you may enjoy include Roger Williams Park Zoo, the Breakers, WaterFire, Rosecliff, and the Elms. There are beautiful historic home sites throughout the state where you can step back in history and imagine living life as an aristocrat. If you would like to visit them, be sure to consider Rough Point and the Marble House.
When you begin looking for deaf and hard of hearing jobs, look to Providence, Newport, and Warwick. Of course, you could look over state lines too. Since Rhode Island is so small, the commute is small too.
