Located at the far northeastern corner of the United States, Maine is most closely associated with undiscovered wilderness, the ocean, and fine lobster. Additionally, there is a plethora of historic lighthouses and museums throughout the state. Of course, the well-known horror author, Stephen King, is from Maine, and regularly uses it for the settings of his books. If you are seeking DHH jobs, then Maine has plenty to offer for this as well. You just need to know more about the state and find out everything you will enjoy if you choose to relocate here.

Of course, if you would like to visit the lighthouses, then they include Portland Head Light, West Quoddy Head Light, Cape Neddick, Pemaquid Point, Marshall Point, and Spring Point Ledge Light.  That’s only a sampling of the some 60 lighthouses located throughout the state though. There are also 36 state parks if you would like to enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, and other outdoor activities. Maine is home to Acadia National Park as well as eight different national wildlife refuges too. If you like something exhilarating, then consider Funtown Splashtown USA or Palace Playland.

There is so much to see and do in Maine, you will want to search for deaf and hard of hearing jobs in Portland, Bangor, Augusta, Lewiston, or anywhere in between.
