Job Description:
Soliant has an opening for a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher in the Pepperidge, GA area. This position is for the 2024-2025 school year. Soliant offers Weekly Pay, guaranteed hours, and an exceptional Health Benefits & 401k package.
Requirements:
- Valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification in Georgia
- Master’s Level Degree in Education for Teaching Deaf Students
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and families to support student success
- Utilize assistive technology and resources to enhance learning experiences
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
