Location: Phoenix, Arizona  
Pay: $42/hour  
Hours: 37.5 hours/week  

We are seeking a skilled Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join our school district in Phoenix, AZ, for the 2024/2025 school year. This is a full-time onsite position with weekly pay at $42/hour and benefits. The role involves working 37.5 hours per week and starts at the beginning of the 24/25 school year. We are filling this position because our best DHH teacher is retiring. Let's help find their perfect replacement!

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach students who are deaf or hard of hearing, adapting curriculum and instruction to meet their needs.
- Use specialized techniques and resources to support auditory and communication development.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other specialists to provide integrated support.
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students and monitor their progress.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on student performance.

Qualifications:
- **Mandatory:** Active Arizona DHH License (Submit a copy with your resume for consideration).
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Card (Submit a copy with your resume for consideration).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience teaching DHH students is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
