About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide virtual instruction and support to K–12 students throughout Georgia. This full-time remote position allows you to teach from home while making a meaningful impact on student learning, communication development, and accessibility in education.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver live virtual instruction to K–12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs

Utilize engaging and accessible digital tools to support learning and communication

Modify general education curriculum to effectively meet the needs of DHH learners

Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to Georgia educational standards and reporting requirements

Support students’ academic, social, and communication skill development in a virtual setting
Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Deaf Education or closely related field (required)

Valid Georgia teaching certification with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement (required)

Minimum of 2 years teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (preferred)

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication methods commonly used in DHH education

Reliable internet connection and quiet, professional home workspace

Experience with virtual instruction is a plus, but not required
