Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct virtual instruction tailored to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students from early childhood through 8th grade.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to develop and implement appropriate learning goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely progress notes documenting student development and instructional adjustments.
- Collaborate effectively with other educational professionals to ensure a cohesive support system for students.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs and foster an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
- Demonstrated experience working with students from early childhood through middle school.
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable with virtual teaching platforms and technology.
Work Schedule:
- 35 hours per week
- Contract-based position
