About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide virtual instruction and support to students in Bowling Green, Kentucky. In this role, you’ll help students develop communication and academic skills through engaging, individualized lessons—all from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities

Provide virtual instruction and accommodations for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure inclusion and accessibility.

Adapt materials and teaching strategies to meet students’ communication and learning needs.

Participate in virtual IEP meetings and assist in developing student goals.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Kentucky education standards.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field.

Active Kentucky teaching certification for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students (teaching certification may be required).

Experience working with DHH students preferred; virtual experience a plus.

Strong communication and organization skills in a remote setting.

Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home workspace.
