Full-Time DHH Opening | Onsite | Elementary & High School Caseload | Coal Center, PA
Blazer Jobs is proud to partner with a dedicated school district in Coal Center, PA to hire a full-time, onsite Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. This position will support elementary and high school students, offering a meaningful opportunity to impact students’ educational journeys in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Assignment Dates: August 26, 2025 – June 5, 2026
Hours: Monday–Friday | 35 hours per week
Renewal opportunities may be available based on performance and district needs.
Daily Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing in both individual and group settings.

Adapt and implement instructional materials to meet IEP goals.

Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and other school staff.

Participate in IEP meetings and help develop individualized education plans.

Maintain detailed documentation on student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.

Promote inclusive practices and advocate for student accessibility.
State Requirements:

Active Pennsylvania Teaching License
-
Active Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teaching Certification
Candidates who do not meet requirements will not be considered.
