Full Time DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) Teacher
Summary:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time role in Columbus, Georgia. This educator will provide specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments in a school-based setting.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students' needs.

Utilize specialized instructional strategies and assistive technology.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.

Monitor progress and advocate for accommodations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field.

Valid Georgia teaching certificate in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education.

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is preferred.

Minimum of one year of experience working with DHH students.
