Job Title: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (D/HH)
Location: Columbus, Georgia
Type: Full time, 37.5 hrs per week
Caseload:
- K-12TH
- IEP, Direct services and Reports
Start/End Dates: ASAP to May 21, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff.
- Develop and implement personalized education plans.
- Conduct assessments and identify children with potential hearing loss.
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia teaching license with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement.
- Pending licensure accepted
- Successful student teaching experience in the areas of exceptionality
- Basic knowledge of Special Education laws and regulations
Pay: Competitive starting at $40 per hour.
