Caseload: 18 Students
Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and passionate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time, onsite position for the 2025–2026 school year. You'll be working with students across early childhood to high school, supporting their access to education and communication.
Position Details:

Provide direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
-
Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and support personnel
-
Develop and implement IEP goals in line with student needs
-
Promote communication access using ASL, assistive technology, and other strategies
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education or related field
-
Valid Kansas teaching license (General or Special Education)
-
Teacher of the Deaf (TOD) endorsement
-
Praxis exam passed for “Education of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students”

Basic ASL proficiency and/or completion of ASL coursework
