A local school district in Des Plaines is seeking a qualified Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) to join their special education team. This is a full-time, onsite, itinerant position beginning this August.
Position Details:

Hours: 35 hours/week

Schedule: August 11, 2025 – June 3, 2026

Caseload: Approximately 20–30 students served across 10–15 locations

Work Environment: Onsite (Itinerant)

Requirements:

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with DHHT endorsement

Prior experience in itinerant settings is a plus

ASL skills preferred but not mandatory
