Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing – Full-Time | Greeley, CO | 2025–2026 School Year
A fantastic school district located in Greeley, Colorado is seeking a full-time Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to join the team. In this role, you will provide essential support and services to students, helping to foster academic achievement and personal growth. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives the appropriate care and instruction.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct support and specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing based on individual needs and IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, families, audiologists, and school staff to support student development and inclusion

Assist in implementing individualized educational and communication plans, including speech, language, and auditory development strategies

Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements

Participate in IEP, multidisciplinary, and team meetings to provide insight into student performance and needs

Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and social growth
Qualifications:

Valid Colorado Teaching License with endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing or equivalent certification

Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably in a school setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including experience with assistive technology, FM systems, or sign language
-
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge of educational methodologies and best practices for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
