Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Contracted Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to join our district in Greencastle, IN.
Position Details:
- Manageable Caseload
- Part time
- Onsite
Caseload details will be discussed at the time of the interview directly with the district.
State Requirements:

Education: Obtain a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Educator Preparation Program (EPP): Complete an approved educator preparation program specializing in Exceptional Needs: Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Licensure Exam: Pass the required Indiana licensure exam for Exceptional Needs: Deaf and Hard of Hearing (such as a Praxis exam).

License Application: Apply for the Indiana teaching license through the state’s online licensing system, submitting transcripts, exam scores, and other documentation.

Professional Standards: Demonstrate proficiency in key areas such as foundations of deaf education, assessment, instructional planning, language and communication skills, and professional responsibilities.
