Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH)

Location: Jackson, MS

We are seeking a dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2025 School Year. 

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week

• Duration: Full-time, school year

• Compensation: $40+ per hour

Qualifications:

• Active Mississippi certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing 

• Previous experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across multiple grade levels and settings

• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs, utilizing communication strategies such as American Sign Language

• Partner with parents, teachers, and staff to support students’ academic progress and social development
