Blazer Jobs is hiring a full-time Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support students in a school district near Kansas City, Kansas.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with hearing impairments.
- Use ASL, cued speech, and assistive listening devices to support communication.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to provide inclusive learning experiences.
- Conduct progress monitoring and assessments to adjust instruction as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas teaching certification with a DHH endorsement.
- At least one year of experience working with DHH students.
- Strong knowledge of assistive technology and accommodations.
