I am searching for a Deaf and Hard of Hard-of-Hearing teacher to serve a great school outside Lake Worth,Texas for the 2025-2026 school year.
Requirements:
- Deaf and Hard of Hearing License in Texas
- Previous experience preferred
- 37.5 hours | Weekly
- Full Time| M-F| 08/13/2025-05/22/2026
Caseload/Details:
- Develop and implement lesson plans for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, accommodating individual differences and using appropriate instructional strategies, materials, and technology, while collaborating with special education teachers to modify curricula according to IEP guidelines.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of student learning styles and achievements, manage classroom environments and student behavior, oversee the work of instructional aides, and maintain required reports and records, ensuring they align with the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
- Participate in professional development activities, maintain open communication with parents, students, and colleagues, and engage in extracurricular activities, faculty meetings, and staff committees to support the mission of the school district.
