Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist - Visalia, California

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction and support to preschool students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to create and implement individualized learning plans

- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings to ensure comprehensive support
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher with expertise in educational strategies for students with hearing impairments
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, including proficiency in sign language or other relevant methods
- Ability to work effectively with young children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, specifically from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
