Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license with an endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education, or eligibility to obtain

• Classroom or clinical experience supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students (K–12 preferred)

• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL); knowledge of additional communication modalities (e.g., cued speech, oral methods) is a plus

• Familiarity with IEP development, assistive listening tech, and language access strategies

• Ability to meet all CDE and district employment requirements

Position Snapshot:

• Locations: Openings in school districts across Colorado, including Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, and rural communities

• Schedule: Full-time and part-time roles available

• Employment Type: W-2 contract positions for the 2025–2026 school year

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly direct deposit

• Contract Extension: High potential for renewal based on district need and individual performance

What You'll Do:

• Deliver customized instruction that supports language development and academic growth

• Work alongside general education teachers, interpreters, audiologists, and families to implement inclusive strategies

• Monitor student progress, contribute to IEP development, and support student goals

• Foster communication confidence, self-advocacy, and independence in DHH learners
