Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Role
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time extended school year (ESY) role in a supportive school district in Marietta, Georgia. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about providing tailored educational support to students with hearing impairments.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with hearing impairments.

Provide direct instruction using appropriate communication methods, including sign language and oral communication.

Collaborate with general and special education staff to modify curriculum and ensure accessibility.
-
Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and regular communication with families.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field.

Georgia state teaching license with an endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing.

Minimum of one year of experience in a school-based setting.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
