Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered, including:

Active Oregon Teaching License with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field
-
Knowledge of auditory/oral, total communication, and ASL methodologies
-
Experience working with students who have hearing impairments
-
Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint screening
Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing impairments
-
Collaborate with classroom teachers, interpreters, and specialists to ensure accessibility and academic progress
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Monitor and report student progress to parents and IEP teams
-
Adapt curriculum and materials for diverse communication needs
