School Coverage: Serving students across 8 school locations
About the Role:
We are currently working alongside a school district near Milton, FL to place a certified educator specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing instruction. This full-time role spans several campuses and involves delivering both in-person and remote services to students requiring targeted support with communication, academic access, and language development.
Primary Duties:

Deliver direct and consultative DHH instruction to students in both elementary and high school settings

Support the implementation of IEP goals focused on communication, academics, and language acquisition

Coordinate closely with teachers, therapists, and caregivers to enhance educational access

Use accommodations and assistive tools—such as visual aids or technology—to support instruction
-
Regularly assess student growth and adapt strategies to meet changing needs

Travel occasionally within the district for face-to-face sessions
Required Credentials:
-
Valid teaching certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education issued by the state of Florida
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working across multiple grade levels in a school environment

Familiarity with various DHH communication approaches, including ASL

Expertise in crafting and implementing IEPs for DHH students

Comfortable with classroom and portable assistive listening systems

Effective team player with strong interpersonal and communication abilities
