Are you passionate about supporting students with hearing impairments in achieving their academic and communication goals? Bilingual Therapies is now hiring a full-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join a dynamic and supportive team in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. This in-person position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse student population ranging from preschool to high school.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction and support for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers

Support IEP development and implementation
-
Travel between schools to provide itinerant services
Qualifications:
-
Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with an endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing required

Itinerant teaching experience preferred
-
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus
-
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daily travel
