Position Details:

Full-time, onsite role

Classroom-based and itinerant support for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students

Providing direct instruction, individualized support, and collaboration with general education staff

Caseload information will be provided during the district interview
Requirements:

Valid Illinois teaching certification with endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing or Early Childhood Special Education with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement
-
Experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in educational settings preferred
-
Strong knowledge of communication methods including ASL, auditory/oral methods, and assistive technology
-
Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and conduct student assessments
-
Proficiency with educational technology and collaborative team teaching
