Travel Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) - Overland Park, KS
Seeking an experienced professional to support students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a dynamic educational setting located in Overland Park, KS. This position involves travel to various schools, providing specialized instruction and support tailored to the unique needs of these students.
Key responsibilities include delivering engaging, individualized lessons that promote communication skills and academic success for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. The role requires collaboration with educators, families, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student development. The position includes working during the Extended School Year (ESY) in June, with in-person sessions scheduled four hours each morning from Monday through Thursday.
Qualifications and experience:
