About the Role
A school district in Paradise, Nevada is seeking an experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide virtual instruction and communication support for K–12 students. This remote role allows you to help learners develop language, communication, and academic skills while collaborating with a dedicated school team in a flexible online environment.
Responsibilities

Provide individualized virtual instruction and accommodations for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Adapt curriculum materials and communication methods to meet student needs.

Collaborate with general education teachers, families, interpreters, and related service providers.

Participate in virtual IEP meetings and support goal development and progress monitoring.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in alignment with Nevada educational guidelines.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field.

Active Nevada DHH teaching certification or endorsement (teaching certification may be required).

Experience working with DHH students; virtual experience highly preferred.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
