Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time | K–12
We’re seeking a passionate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide virtual instructional and consultative services for students in Rome, Georgia. This remote role allows you to support communication access, language development, and academic growth for DHH learners while collaborating closely with families and school teams.
What You’ll Do:

Provide direct virtual instruction tailored to the needs of DHH students.

Develop and manage IEP-aligned goals focused on communication, literacy, and accessibility.

Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and support staff.

Offer recommendations on assistive technology, captioning, and classroom accommodations.

Participate in virtual IEP meetings and maintain accurate, compliant documentation.

Consult with school teams to promote inclusive, communication-friendly learning environments.
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field.

Active Georgia DHH teaching certification.

School-based experience preferred; virtual experience a plus.

Strong communication and technology readiness for virtual instruction.

Reliable internet connection and a professional home workspace.

Teaching certification may be required depending on district.
